Service Description

This course is to learn how to knit lace. It is a 2-hour morning course on a Thursday morning at Leander Club in Henley-on-Thames You will learn how to knit "intentional" holes into your knitting. And how to read the knitting to know where to place the holes. To follow this course, you need to know how to cast on, knit, purl and cast off. This workshop is part of the Woolly Wol Learn to Knit for Intermediate Level but is bookable on its own or save 5 pounds if you book Learn to Knit with Beads at the same time in one booking (no discount code needed). We will follow the pattern for the lace square in the Woolly Wol Blanket. The Woolly Wol Blanket is specially designed to take you on a knitting journey from easy to harder and it is knit on 6-mm needles which means it’ll grow quickly, and feel super satisfying. Included in this course is 2 hours of expert tuition, the Woolly Wol lace square pattern and enough wool to knit your lace square as well as tea and biscuits. If you already own 6-mm knitting needles, please bring them, or otherwise add them to your booking. Maximum class size: 6 knitters
