PetiteKnit Novice Sweater - Mohair Edition Kit

This item is the pattern and the yarn needed to complete your PetiteKnit Novice Sweater - Mohair Edition. The kit contains Tynn Silk Mohair (57% Mohair, 28% Silk, 15% Wool) for a super soft and fluffy result. The sweater is knitted in two strands of Tynn Silk Mohair.

The Novice Sweater – Mohair Edition is worked from the top down. You will start by knitting the neck ribbing, then the yoke, then the body of the sweater and finally the sleeves. The sweater is worked in stockinette stitch with edges in rib stitch.

The Novice Sweater – Mohair Edition has a circular yoke. The yoke is shaped with a total of 4 rounds of increases that are evenly distributed along the length of the yoke.

• Sizing: The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL are designed to fit an approximate bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. Before beginning your project, measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust (or your widest upper body part) to determine which size will fit you the best. The Novice Sweater - Mohair Edition is designed to have approx. 6-12 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 6-12 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The size of the finished sweater is 92 (96) 102 (108) 116 (126) 136 cm. The measurements are achieved if the sweater is knitted to the correct gauge. Example sizing: if your bust circumference is 94 cm and you knit a size M, your sweater will have a bust circumference of 102 cm which would give you 8 cm of positive ease.

  
  

• Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows in stockinette stitch with 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
