PetiteKnit Monday Sweater - Merino/Mohair Edition Kit

This item is the pattern and the yarn needed to complete your PetiteKnit Monday Sweater in Merino combined with Silk Mohair. The kit contains Sunday (100% Merino Wool) and Tynn Silk Mohair (57% Mohair, 28% Silk, 15% Wool) for a super soft and fluffy result.

The PetiteKnit Monday Sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases to shape the yoke. The neck rib edge is folded and knitted together (to form a double neckband) and short rows are worked at the back of the neck to shape the neckline and raise the back. The sleeves are worked in the round on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique.

• Sizing: The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. Before beginning your project, measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust (or your widest upper body part) to determine which size will fit you the best. The Monday Sweater is designed to have approx. 15-20 cm of positive ease in the smaller sizes and then gradually less positive ease in the larger sizes, meaning it is designed to be approx. 15-20 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The size of the finished sweater is 105 (110) 114 (119) 128 (138) 147 (154) 166 cm. The measurements are achieved if the sweater is knitted to the correct gauge. Example sizing: if your bust circumference is 90 cm and you knit a size S, your sweater will have a bust circumference of 110 cm which would give you 20 cm of positive ease.

  
  

• Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
