PetiteKnit Jenny Sweater Kit

This item is the pattern and the yarn needed to complete your Jenny Sweater in Norwegian wool combined with mohair. The kit contains Tynn Peer Gynt (100% Norwegian Wool) and Tynn Silk Mohair (57% Mohair, 28% Silk, 15% Wool) for a super soft and fluffy result.

The PetiteKnit Jenny Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up with raglan decreases on the yoke. Body and sleeves are worked separately to the armholes and then joined on the circular needle for the yoke. The neckline is shaped by working back and forth on the needles, while binding off stitches. The neckline ribbing is knitted at the end from stitches that are picked up.

• Sizing: The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) cm. Before beginning your project, measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust (or your widest upper body part) to determine which size will fit you the best. The Jenny Sweater is designed to have approx. 19 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 19 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The size of the finished sweater is 104 (109) 114 (119) 129 (139) 149 (158) cm. The measurements are achieved if the sweater is knitted to the correct gauge. Example sizing: if your bust circumference is 90 cm and you knit a size S, your sweater will have a bust circumference of 109 cm which would give you 19 cm of positive ease. If you are between sizes, the smaller size is recommended, as the smock pattern will stretch slightly with wear.

  
  

• Gauge: 30-31 stitches x 25-26 rows in smock pattern on 4 mm needles after washing and blocking = 10 x 10 cm
