PetiteKnit Amy Sweater Kit

This item is the pattern and the yarn needed to complete your PetiteKnit Amy Sweater. The kit contains Sandnes Garn Peer Gynt (100% Norwegian wool) for a beautiful result.

The Amy Sweater is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. The first part of the yoke is worked flat, back and forth, to shape the neckline. Then the work is joined in the round, so the rest of the yoke can be worked in the round and shaped with raglan increases. The sleeves and hem of the body are finished with wide ribbed edges followed by a small roll-over edge worked in stockinette stitch. The turtleneck collar is worked at the end, from stitches that are picked up and knitted around the neck opening.

• Sizing: The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150). Before beginning your project, measure yourself with a measuring tape around your bust (or your widest upper body part) to determine which size will fit you the best. The Amy Sweater is designed to have approx. 20 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 20 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The size of the finished sweater is 100 (104) 108 (112) 118 (126) 134 (142) 150 (160) cm. The measurements are achieved if the sweater is knitted to the correct gauge. Example sizing: if your bust circumference is 88 cm and you knit a size S, your sweater will have a bust circumference of 108 cm which would give you 20 cm of positive ease.
